Fire Rated Screens, Windows and Doors
In addition to our main core business Architectural Products have identified that the current curtain walling and cladding markets call for the supply of steel fire rated screens, doors and windows to complement their own installations.
We have been an approved fabricator of the Wright Style system for six years and in that time have built up a steady customer base and cater for their requirements with no concern for the size of the order.
The Wright Style systems we use can be used in many configurations including: fixed screens, single leaf or pairs of doors, in single action and double acting formats, and side hung, bottom hung or top hung opening windows.
The profiles are cold rolled hollow sections, available in varying widths that are 40, 50 or 60mm deep. Made from 2mm thick steel strip, which is pre-galvanised on both sides to offer protection internally as well as externally.
All corner joints are structurally welded and linished flush to provide a complete seamless joint that is then fully protected against corrosion prior to any finishing process.
The products can be wet tape or dry glazed with either standard or fire resistant gaskets. A variety of snap-over, hidden fixing beads are available, to accommodate for the use of varying thickness of fire resistant glass.

The Wright Style systems have been tested to various international standards for many different applications.

Fire
Tested to 120 minutes integrity only for screens, and 90 minutes for door & window applications with fire risk from either side.
    Ballistic
Designed as a primary system against ballistic attack, offering protection from all firearms as specified under BS 5051 classes G0 to R2, including armour-piercing specifications.
    Blast
Designed as a primary protection system, to prevent integrity failure of the glazing and framing support. The system can achieve protection from various explosive risks placed within a close proximity to the glazing. Calculations and recommendations are provided on an individual basis.
  Smoke
Can be used for the retention and control of hot or cold smoke and poisonous gases, by isolating the smoke producing areas and preventing the passage of smoke into the safety zones.
  Glass
The system is designed to accommodate thickness of glass up to 40mm with edge covers up to 17mm. The system is also certified for use with any fire glass, that has test evidence for glazing into steel framed systems.
  Weather Performance
System design has been tested to BS5368 parts 1,2 & 3 and to BS6375 parts 1 & 2 to 300 pa for water leakage and 1600Pa wind resistance.
